SVW's PASSAT Lingyu received the second prize in the recently released China Automotive Industry Science and Technology Awards, which gives SVW much deserved recognition for it's achievement and innovation at localization.

　　The "China Automobile Industry Science and Technology Award" something of a "Nobel Prize" in China's auto industry, is aimed at recognizing the advanced scientific and technological achievements in the auto industry. The award looks at both science and technology projects and programs as well as the companies and organizations who have played major roles in promoting the progress of the auto industry in China.

　　The goal is also to encourage engineers and designers to develop higher quality and innovative vehicles.

　　A total of 114 projects made it to the final phase of this year's evaluation which was assessed by nearly 40 automobile experts. In the final assessment, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd's " Dongfeng 5 ton high mobility off-road vehicle project" won the first prize, while SVW's PASSAT Lingyu walked away with the second prize.
