THE swearing-in ceremony of the "Lingyu Olympic Care Journey" activity was officially launched on December 2 in Guangxi province at a meeting where organizers also announced the launch of the "Love Ambassadors" activity.

　　Leaders attending the ceremony included, SVW's Deputy Party Secretary Yu Liangkun, UNICEF officials, and related local leadership. In their various statements, the guests showed the support of the government, the community, and the enterprises for the charitable and humanistic spirit of the Olympic related activities.

　　The aim of the activity is to transmit the Olympic spirit to the remote mountain regions of Guangxi, Yunnan and other places. The 24 outstanding university students who were selected from over 10 universities will assume the function of supporting the education mission.

　　They will distribute sport bags to the students, helping them to integrate the values of sport into their daily practice, and allowing them to feel and share in the Olympic spirit.

　　Through the Capital Institute of Physical Education and UNICEF, the students have been given formal training, including sports-related education and a simple introduction to the Olympic spirit to qualify them as sports amabassadors.
