IN nationwide evaluation results for the degree of satisfaction of official-purpose cars in 2006, the PASSAT LINGYU won the title of "First choice of official cars." As revealed several days ago, ten big prizes were designed for winners out of 68 candidate car models included in the appraisal.

　　Statistics from China's Automobile Industry Association showed that the PASSAT LINGYU maintained a solid monthly sales volume of over 10,000 in the past January, putting it in the top three car models in its market category.

　　News reports revealed that in some regions the car was in such hot demand that many customers placed a down payment and were willing to wait for delivery. This strong demand is attributed to the precise market positioning and competitive value for money ratio of the car.
