THE semi-final round of the After-Sale Service Techniques Competition involving SVW service station staff, kicked off recently. Mr. Yu Liangkun, Party Secretary of SVW's CPC Committee, attended and announced the beginning of the competition.

　　Through an examination using electronic questionnaires, 70 units with 210 candidates were selected out of the 600 maintenance stations.

　　From these, 17 teams of 51 players were selected to participate in the regional semi-finals in Shanghai. Different evalutation techniques were designed for the semi-finals, ranging from a Q & A of professional knowledge and skills to concrete practices, such as express maintenance, key match, vehicle function set-up and trouble shooting.

　　After a full day of competition, first place went to SVW Changzhou Sales and Service Co. Ltd., while SVW Qingpu Sales and Service Co. Ltd got the second prize. Both of them will go on to the finals in Beijing in November while another 8 final contestants are chosen from the four remaining regions, Chengdu, Tianjin, Shenzhen and Shenyang in the next two weeks.
