Polo Jinqing (dynamic passion) is another piece of classic product jointly developed by SVW and VWAG in Wolfsburg. In 2003, when the project of Polo GP (facelift) was started in Wolfsburg, SVW's designing team also began to consider developing a new generation of Polo especially for the Chinese market and participated in the discussion of the basic concept for it.
SVW sent its Chinese designers to VWAG's designing center in Wolfsburg to join the German designers in the development activities. At the same time, another development team of SVW's also started to work out a designing program for a new generation Polo. By way of constant exchange and communication, the Chinese and German designing teams successfully completed the whole development activities.
Incorporating the world's designing trend into the car along with VWAG's new designing concept, SVW's designers worked out a completely new program to cater for the aesthetic requirements of the Chinese market. Carrying over the traditional fine workmanship and excellent quality of the Polo brand, Polo Jinqing shows a new element of vigor and strength and displays a passion for trendiness.
