| The rear doors of the four-door GOL are installed
with children safety lock. The lever can be locked or opened inside
the car with the key to the car. When the door is locked by the children
safety lock, it can only be opened from outside to prevent children
from opening the door by mistake, therefore, to ensure safety of children. |
Seats of modern cars have exceeded their basic functions
and are developing toward comfort and safety. The carefully designed
seats of GOL completely meet ergonomics and the characteristics are
as follows:
1. Removable and up-and-down adjustable pillow.
2. Angle of the seat back can be adjusted with a hand-wheel to meet
requirements of passengers for comfort. The back of the front seats
of two-door cars can be turned over for convenience of passengers
to enter or get out of the back row, perfectly matching the unique
two-door structure.
3. A single central guide rail is installed under the seats of the
driver and the assistant driver. Pull forward the operation lever
and adjust the seat position longitudinally (forward or backward).
4. The height of the seat can be adjusted to the ideal position through
the “pumping movement” of the operation lever at the outer side of
the seat.
5. Thick and soft brand new machine made surface material is used
for the seat cover, plus soft lining, making passenger feel more comfortable.
The cover is of vivid grey and belongs to the same color series as
the ceiling and carpet, forming a clean and harmonious atmosphere
for passengers. Knitted fabric and high quality surface treatment
make the seat cover wear resistant, light resistant and improve color
fastness with excellent air permeability. Passengers will feel comfortable,
safe, warm, reliable and at home in any environment in the car. The
philosophy of personalized design of interior decoration of modern
cars is fully reflected. |

When the front seat is turned

GOL adopts pinion-and-rack steering device of simple
structure and high efficient, which can automatically prevent loose
engagement between the gear and the rack, and the system features
even inherent damping and small steering elasticity.
Steering column
The steering system of GOL adopts extensible steering column with
the latest technology. When collision occurs, the upper and down part
of the steering column automatically contract and reduce the impact
force of the steering wheel to the driver, therefore, the whole steering
system possesses very good passive safety.
Steering wheel
There are three steering wheel configurations for GOL depending on
different versions. Three-spoke Φ380mm steering wheel is adopted for
two-door entry version; three-spoke Φ360mm steering wheel is adopted
for two-door/four-door basic version and four-spoke Φ370mm is adopted
for two-door/four-door comfortable version to achieve the best matching
effect. Aluminum-magnesium alloy frame is used to reduce the weight
of steering wheel and improve the comfort of operation. The steering
wheel is coated with mould spraying technology to improve the forming
quality of the PUR on the surface of the steering wheel. It not only
looks nice but also feels good.
The steering wheel has a lock function. When the key to the car is
pulled out, the steering wheel cannot be turned and that is a mechanical
guard device against theft.
Steering power-assisted device
The steering system of all GOL cars except two-door entry version
are equipped with hydraulic power-assisted device with low operation
noise and the capability of absorbing impacting force of uneven road
surface. With the left-right adjustable horizontal tension bar, the
steering is more proficient. The steering power-assisted oil pump
is a vane pump with very good performance against leakage. The centrifugal
force guarantees that there is no clearance and the accuracy and flexibility
of the steering are thus improved. |
