The unique compartment back design of GOL provides
smooth curve of car body and harmony of the entire car. Both the shape
and the structural features distinctly reflect characteristic of the
time and it is a perfect combination of power and fashion as well
as contour and quality.
1. GOL adopts a concept of standardized car body (different models
of the same car body manufacturing method for convenience of production
and management). The unique two-door / four-door structures, fashionable
compartment back design, and elegant streamline contour make the car
an integral whole with unlimited power.
2. GOL adopts innovative and bold integral side design, i.e. punch
forming of the three columns, the upper side beam and the lower side
beam as a whole for higher rigidity of the car and improved punch
process performance.
3. The front floor assembly of GOL is welded together with the left
floor, the right floor and the central pathway and the punch process
performance is thus improved. The shallow tray structures at the two
sides and the seats are harmonious and unified. The back floor assembly
is designed with a concave for stepney, which can be placed horizontally
in the luggage trunk.
4. Introduce a two-door model and be the forerunner in China. The
two-door car adopts unique expanded door design and the column B is
moved backward. Passengers can conveniently get into the back when
the front seat is turned forward. The two sides of the back seat and
the rear fender is an integral steel plate structure. Therefore, the
structural rigidity and the strength of the car body are greatly improved.
5. The axle base of GOL is 2468mm, while the wheel track of front
wheels is 1388mm and that of rear wheels is 1384mm. Bigger axle base
and wheel track expands interior space but also make driving safer
and comfortable.
